Morning Pages 2.23.16

A Letter to the Next President . . .

As a teacher in the United States I think that during your term you need to use your power for good in the education system. This country needs to realize that it is important and ever-changing.

And I guess for now I don't have anything else to say, because I've been staring at this page for the entire morning pages time and I couldn't come up with a single thing, I'm so sorry.

  1. That's definitely a tough one. When faced with the problems of an entire nation, how does one boil it down to how and what to improve? I totally understand...
I also that that the simple statement, "use your power for good in the education system" is important. It's definitely a good place to start!! Right on!

  2. I bet you have some strong ideas. After reading your blog, I KNOW you have some strong ideas! What kind of policies could a presidential administration set in motion to help you be the kind of teacher you want to be? Legislation has such a direct effect on environment. What do legislators and the prez need to know about how to make schools the places where *kids* want to be, too?
